The Hotel-Restaurant ölmühle is located in the picturesque community of Sickingen Stadt Landstuhl, a medieval town comprised of quaint, age-old alleyways lined by historic homes and shops. Our restaurant lies at the foot of a thickly forested hill crowned by the castle ruins of Nanstein, a fabled fortification dating back almost a millennium. The Palatinate forest surrounds us, which is one of the most charming landscapes in Germany.
The ölmühle is an ideal focal point for embarking on excursions throughout the Palatinate region. Also, quick tours to our neighbors France and Luxembourg are easily possible, including car or motorcycle trips to France’s stunning Alsace countryside and Vosges mountains.
